About Us
M L Rice Mills was set up in the year 1983 in Jalalabad (West), Punjab with an aim to provide the best Rice to the people worlwide. With the passing time, the company became one of the major Rice Manufacturers, Exporters, and Suppliers in India. The variety of Rice, we deal in, comprises of Basmati Rice and Non Basmati Rice. The Company has also received Apeda and SGS Quality Certifications, due to the dedicated efforts of the Directors, Mr. Ashok Kumar and Mr. Ashu Girdhar.
History
M L Rice Mills is one of oldest and reputed companies, founded in 1983 by Mr. Janak Raj Girdhar, who has an experience of more than 40 years in this field. In 1994, Mr. Ashok Kumar, elder son of the founder, joined the business with a clear vision to take the company to a national level and to shoulder the responsibilities of his family business. Later, in 2008, Mr. Ashu Girdhar, younger son of the founder, also joined the business and contributed towards the strategic planning.
Infrastructure
The company has a vast and advanced processing unit, which is sprawling over an area of 7 acres. This unit is equipped with Paddy Cleaning, Drying, Parboiling, Milling, Polishing, and Grading Machines, and also Bhuler (UK make) and Satake (Japan make) for color sorting, which is a part of the integrated processing lines. All these machinery and other facilities help the company in achieving the production capacity of 120 MT per day. Apart from this, our infrastructure also has testing lab that is handled by experienced staff, packaging unit, and many other functional departments.

In a period of more than 30 years in the industry, the company has established its base in all over the world. Spread in almost every part of India, Iran, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Europe, Australia, Sri Lanka etc., this vast network plays a vital role in the companyĆ¢s overall success.
